Protective Coatings
A range of coatings for superb resistance to corrosion, wear, water, and acid environments. Can be used on concrete and steel as well as a wide variety of other substrates. Each kit is a two-part system (Resin & Hardener) which when mixed, creates a single product for one or more individual coating applications.
For the application to internal and external pipes, structural steel, tanks, scrubbers, thickeners, agitators, process vessels, and various floors.
Nordbak NORDCOAT 1 SPECIAL is ideally suited for:
- Food processing plants
- The manufacturing of food-type products
- General chemical resistance-immersion acids are available upon request
Nordbak NORDCOAT 1 SPECIAL can be used on:
- Concrete

NORDCOAT 1 SPECIAL is ideal for coating in low ambient temperatures. It is a two-part 100% solids co-polymer coating with a cure time of 24 hours.

Heavy-duty Corrosion, Acid and Wear-resistant Coating.
NORDBAK® NORDCOAT 2 is a two-part 100% solids co-polymer coating giving maximum coating thickness.
NORDBAK® NORDCOAT 2 is an outstanding heavy-duty corrosion, acid, wear-resistant coating that can be used on steel and various other substrates.
Gives a maximum coating thickness in a one-coat application with a final cure time of 6 hours @ 20°C.
This products formulation ensures no shrinkage, resulting in wet film thickness being equal to dry film thickness.

NORDBAK® NORDCOAT 6 ACID can be used on structural steel, concrete, and a wide variety of other substrates where different levels of a variety of acids are present. It is a solvent-based co-polymer coating giving a maximum coating thickness of 100-125µm per coat.
Nordbak NORDCOAT 6 can be used on steel, concrete as well as a wide variety of other substrates.
- Two coats are recommended for most industrial applications
- May be applied with brush, roller or spray
- Curing time 12 hours @ 20°C

NORDBAK® PS 1 gives a smooth finish to surfaces whilst protecting them from general acids and higher levels of chlorine.
Nordbak PS1 is designed specifically for:

- Gives a very hard smooth finish to swimming pools, dams, tanks, pipes, flooring, retaining walls and bund wall areas
- Gel time 3 hours @ 20°C

A water-miscible co-polymer sealer that is absorbed into concrete surfaces.
NORDBAK® OIL SEAL is diluted with water into a watery liquid, to easily penetrate deep into the surface of the concrete, effectively sealing it from the ingress of oil and other general contaminants.
